Kalpana is an alumna of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (Delhi) and Rajiv Gandhi School of IP Laws, IIT Kharagpur with 12 years of
experience in the legal and IP domain. She is also a registered Patent Agent for 11 years and holder of a granted patent as an inventor. She has worked as an IP attorney with 4 biggest companies in India including Hero MotoCorp, TCS, Bajaj Electricals and Yokohama Off-Highway
Tires.

She started her career as a patent attorney with Hero MotoCorp where she got hands on experience in patent analytics, patent drafting and
related advisory services and she continued gaining valuable experience through further techno-legal assignments during her tenure with other companies. She has been recognized for her skills and proficiency for handling complex IP issues through various awards and accolades during her in-house stint.

She has advised companies and clients on matters related to strategy, more specifically in areas of patent prosecution, monetization and
commercialization, licensing and assignment. She also handles advisory support in relation to technical products during IP risk mitigation
analysis and circumvention.
